Power to the smoothie!!! Our mixed berry power smoothie packs a punch! Perfect for a breakfast on the run!
If you've been following us for a while, you'll know that I have a thing for breakfast! Especially when it comes to a good smoothie. This mixed berry power smoothie is based on our delicious strawberry & raspberry breakfast smoothie, with a bit of an extra added kick to get your morning started!
I've ranted about the benefits of oats, chia seeds and LSA, before in that post, but haven't yet had to rant about psyllium husk! Despite its tricky spelling, I've discovered that psyllium also has a number of amazing health benefits, including aiding with bowel movements (oh me oh my), weight loss and keeping your heart happy and healthy! So we've decided to combine the powers of psyllium husk, oats, chia seeds, LSA and mixed berries to create this super delicious, super easy and super super food mixed berry power smoothie (I feel that with a name like this, it should belong in a pack of world saving, healthy smoothie superhero television show!)
So may your breakfasts be full, you bowel movements be frequent and your body be healthy with our mixed berry power smoothie! And remember, if you make our recipes, be sure to tag us on Instagram, #thehomecookskitchen
