In reply to Em. Hey Em, I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you and I'm not 100% sure why as that has never happened to me before when I've made this dish. The only thing I could think of was that maybe the cream and chocolate hadn't cooled enough before you started to whip it? it needs to be 100% cold which is why you need to leave it in the fridge for at least two hours. I made this last night and when whipping the chocolate-cream mixture, when the cream finally began to stiffen, it immediately separated from the chocolate and I was left with a lumpy cream mix. Mixing this in with the condensed milk didn’t help, and once fully frozen, the top layer was a lumpy chocolate cream and the nice smooth chocolate had settled at the bottom of the container (this part actually tasted really good. What did I do wrong and how do I stop the cream from splitting from the chocolate when whipping?
