In reply to Nikki. Hi Nicki, I'm not entirely sure to be honest because I haven't kept them longer than overnight prior to baking. I personally would only leave them overnight at the most, but I prefer to bake them the day fresh.

Regarding leftovers, how long can you keep prepared scone dough in the fridge to make for another day? Like can you keep the leftover dough in the fridge for a week before taking it out and making the scones?

I just made this for the first time and omg it is good. So simple but super delish. My only quibble is, I ate the whole thing! Thought I'd have leftovers, but couldn't stop eating bc, again, so good. Thank you so much for posting the recipe!
